Two methods were used to analyze the amount of Au in gold ore. A normal fire assay of 8 samples indicated of 15.6, where s=0.5 oz./ton of ore. The 10 more sample were dissolved in aqua regia and tests using AA spectroscopy. The results were 16.35 where s=0.23 oz./ton.
