Mr. Moneybags was found dead on the floor of his study. Investigators found an open bottle of scotch on his desk, and a broken glass on the floor near his body. His skin appeared pinkish. Authorities suspect cyanide poisoning and decided to apply a colourimetric test for cyanide with a sample of Mr. Moneybags' scotch. the test gives a visible color in the presence of cyanide and no color in the absence of cyanide.
