Question
A small company pays four of its employees by the hour. A employee's total weekly pay equals the hourly wage multiplied by the total number of regular hours plus any overtime pay. Overtime pay for the hours greater than 40 but less than 60 equals the overtime hours multiplied by 1.5 times the hourly wage.
Overtime pay for hours worked 60 or over equals the number of hours worked 60 or over multiplied by 2 times the hourly wage. Once the total pay is computed, 7% is deducted for social security, 15% is deducted for tax, and $30 is deducted for health insurance.
You task is to explain a program that prompts the user, for a name, an hourly rate, and number of hours worked, and computes and prints a paycheck for the employee. Your program must include at least one function.
You might explain a function that takes in the pay rate and hours worked, and returns the total pay for the week. Alternatively, you might have another function that takes the name and total pay, and prints the paycheck. (This second function would be a void function that does not return anything.)
Here is an example output from your program for a person named Smith, who worked 61 hours, and who is paid $15.75 per hour.
Name: Smith Total Pay: $1141.88 Social Security: $79.93 Tax Withheld: $171.28 Health Insurance: $30 Net Pay: $860.67
You should sent me your code (.py ?le), along with the output for at least 3 sample inputs.
