Both the 1,2-dichlorobutane and 1,3-dichlorobutane products involve 2^o (secondary) structures. Account for the differences between the two. In the experiment 1,3-dichlorobutane had a much higher percentage (46.6%) from the total products than 1,2-dichlorobutane did (23.5%).
