As a matter of fact, your letter describing local efforts at preventing and treating this serious affliction was quite touching. We wish we could contribute again this year, as I believe we have done in previous years. But giving money to charities that are unrelated to our business is out of the question this year.

We hope you will understand that we simply cannot exercise the luxury of making contributions to all charities at this point in time.
