Case: Your company is a manufacturer of printers that are used with personal computers. Historically, you have been the high quality, low cost option. Your most popular printer sells for $79. Recently your main competitor has brought to the market a comparable printer for only $64 and having the same quality as yours. Your CEO has now created a task force to beat the competitor's price by $15 while maintaining quality comparable to your current printer. He also wants to have this printer on the market within nine months. You are the leader of this task force. Your first assignment is to provide the appropriate problem statement for your task force. To get them started, you also want to provide some examples of the type of information and data that your team will need to created.
