1. Think about one specific example of an interpersonal conflict and explain what the conflict is. Remember that Cahn and Abigal define interpersonal conflict is having these four characteristics:
a. "the conflicting parties are interdependent,
b. they have the perception that they seek incompatible goals or outcomes or they favor incompatible means to the same ends,
c. the perceived incompatibility has the potential to adversely affect the relationship if not addressed, and
d. there is a sense of urgency about the need to resolve the difference"
2. Relate this conflict to one of the intrapersonal theories of conflict or relationship theories of conflict and explain how this theory helps you to better understand your conflict.
