Setting up an organizational on foreign soil is not easy. I love to make things as simple as possible, so in business when it grows why not continue to do the same. For example, in our textbook, they describe the product organizational structure, and I would go from there. However, not only would I focus on the product organization but the geographic organization as well.

Even though the products that are doing well in the United States, sometimes does not translate into doing well around the world. So therefore, I would tell the CEO, to narrow down to three different areas of the world where the company can make new additional products for that particular area.

When a company produces more products that pertain to a particular, like research, then that usually translate into profit. For example, have one additional product that would pertain to the European population, then Asian population, and the Australian population. That way the company can focus on three different products to three different areas of the world all at one time.

· From the e- Activity, examine two (2) potential risks that could adversely affect operational effectiveness of U.S. multinational corporations that have plans to do business in Cuba. Recommend strategies that could help the companies mitigate these risks. Provide rationale for your reasoning.

The two potential risks that could adversely affect operational effectiveness of United States multinational corporations that have plans to do business in Cuba are the following: the embargo that put in place and possibly having a hurt feeling for so long that they may try to do something to the United States' companies while they are there. The first one is the embargo (Alonso & Lee, 2016).

It was put in place by the United States because of the ties that Cuba had with the Soviet Union and was place by President Kennedy in 1962. One way that could help mitigate this risk to still keep a close eye on Cuba and Russia but also still allow commerce with Cuba because will benefit both countries.

The second one is possibly having a hurt feeling for so long that they may try to do something to the United States' companies while they are there. Countries do not like having an embargo being place upon them, after all look at North Korea and their sanctions. To me, North Korea today resembles a lot of Cuba in the 1960s. So the trust between the United States and Cuba must grow in order for anything to happen.
