A 12.9 molar aqueous solution of ethanol at 20 degrees celcius has a density of .872 g/mL. After dilution with water to 8.12 molar, its density is 0.953 g/mL.

a) calculate the volume of 12.9 molar ethanol solution needed to prepare 2 L of 8.12 molar ethanol solution. (i did this by doing MV=MV and got 1.26 L)

b) determine the percent by mass ethanol in a 12.9 molar aqueous solution.

c) what is the molality of the 8.12 molar solution?
