An aluminum can is cut into pieces. A 0.74-g. sample of the aluminum chips is used to prepare potassium alum according to the procedure described in this experiment. Calculate the theorical yield (in grams) of potassium alum that could be obtained in the reaction. The molar mass of potassium alum is 474.39 g/mol.
