1. A thin-walled plastic cigarette lighter was found to contain 4.2g of butane in an interior volume of 5.12ml. calculate the pressure at 25 C, if the butane had remained as a gas.

2. Comment on the reasonableness of your answer to question #1. (for comparison, a typical medical oxygen tank which is designed to hold about 140 atm pressure on the inside, is made of 12.5 mm thick chrome-steel and weighs about 10 kg.)

3. Assuming ideal gas behavior, calculate the number of times this experiment could be run, using 45ml of butane at 1 atm, from the lighter in question #1.
