Calcium fluoride Ca F 2 is an insoluble salt. The Ksp is 3.4 x 10 -11. Calculate the molar solubility of calcium fluoride.

If the concentration of fluoride in fluoridated drinking water is 1 x 10 -5 M and the calcium ion concentration in blood is 2.5 x 10 -3 M , why is there no danger of Ca F2 precipitating in the blood stream, after drinking the water?
