SCENARIO -

Select any organization from Maldives, and make a full study on the working of that selected place. Prepare a Contingency planning in the case of crisis on the same.

1. Choose an organisation.

2. Make a detailed study on the working of the organisation starting from Mission and vison.

4. Cover all the steps of planning.

5. Evaluate the quality assurance in that organization to improve organisational performance.

6. Evaluate the safety procedures in the organization and in the case of improvement requirement suggest the same.

Note: to complete the assignment, you would have to choose a well-established organisation that has an impact the Maldivian economy.

In order to successfully complete this assignment, you must complete the following tasks based on your chosen organisation:

Task 1 -

1. Evaluate the mission and vision of the organization and justify whether their SOPs (Standard operation procedures) and strategies tally with their mission and vision.

2. Explain Background of the organization.

3. Evaluate the organisation structure currently available there and explain what type of structure (s) are used.

4. Evaluate the organisation culture and make a detail report on how it effects the working of the organization. And also do experiment to find According to Harrison, which of among the four basic classifications came be considered as the base of the particular firm.

5. Using flowchart mapping represent any one of the process in the organization (for a large organization)/ whole working in the case of small organization.

Task 2 -

1. Write objective which are specific, measurable, achievable, and realistic for your contingency plan.

2. Design contingency plan by following planning and control cycle elements.

3. Produce a Gantt chart illustrating the activities and durations for accruing things and / setup for contingency plan.

4. The requirements for a congruency plan should go through quality gateways in the requirements process.

5. Carry out risk assessment on what happens if the contingency plan is not available.

Task 3 -

1. Find out the quality standards specified by the organisation.

2. Justify how a quality management system will support and ensure culture to ensure continuous monitoring, evaluation and development of the process of the organization.

3. Recommend improvements in current organization's objectives, goals and polices which result in improvements in over are working.

4. Explain what will be the potential benefits of quality processes.

Task 4 -

1. Carry out risk assessments to find out whether there is minimum legislation, regulation and organisational requirements of safety if followed in the organization.

2. Find out whether that health and safety regulations and legislation are followed correctly and effectively applied in the organisation, and suggest what to be followed in case of emergency situations.

3. Carry out a systematic review of organizational health and safety policies and procedures in order to ensure they are suitable for the organisation.

4. If health and safety regulations is lacking in that organization currently, provide suggestions and explain how to implement it.
