The atmosphere of Mars has a mass of 2.5 * 10^16 kg and comprises of two major species: carbon dioxide (95%) and nitrogen gas (3%). Given that the equatorial radius of Mars is3,397 km, calculate the mass of a single column of atmosphere over a 1 m^2 surface area on the planet.
