We are now approaching the end of the course and we will wrap up with Phase 3 of the case study. The last phase of this case study has two parts-a paper and a PowerPoint presentation.

THE PAPER

The paper will be mostly a summative document but you will be adding your evaluation and recommendations concerning the international challenges faced by your chosen MNC. If you had some errors or omissions in your earlier stages of this case study, this is your chance to strengthen your analysis. You can create tables (reported in appendices of the paper) that address prior weaknesses in ratio analysis, country analysis, tax analysis, hedging analysis, industry/competitor analysis, etc.

The syllabus states that your Stage 3 paper should be no more than 5 double-spaced pages, with appropriate supporting tables and references (not counted towards the 5-page requirement). I'll allow up to 6 double-spaced pages to give you a little more flexibility. Remember that you are not simply doing a cut/paste because this paper is more summative in nature; in addition, you must add your evaluation and recommendations. I should see NO TABLES in the body of your paper and all tables from outside sources should be properly cited. Be sure to add a reference page in APA format. The written case study paper will be evaluated using the rubric found in the syllabus.
Your paper should be submitted through the "Assignments" portal in LEO as well as through Turnitin.

THE POWERPOINT PRESENTATION

In addition to this paper, you will create a PowerPoint (PP) presentation. Your PP presentation should be at least 12 slides (no more than 18) and should summarize your case study findings. Narration is not required. Keep in mind that you will be giving information in more general terms than you did in your paper; however, your peer reviewer should have a good idea of what you discovered while you completed this case study during the term. Again, focus on the international dimension of your chosen MNC.

Don't make your reviewer form conclusions about data-you are responsible for summarizing what you learned. In other words, don't just put a table on a slide and expect your reviewer to do his/her own analysis of the information. ALSO, don't put too much information on a slide-it is burdensome for your audience.

Submit your PP presentation in Discussion Board by Sunday, July 3 so that the peer review can begin.

I'll follow up with an announcement on expectations concerning peer reviews-watch for this announcement. Because we are using peer review, your timeliness in submission is essential. Please show consideration for your peers as we complete this case study.
