In this week's experiment, you prepared sodium hydrogen carbonate, commonly called baking soda. Next week, you will analyze your product. One way you will use is to convert NaHCO3 (MW = 84.0) to Na2CO3 (MW = 106) by heating the sample gently. Calculate the percent yield: Mass of crucible after cleaning: 13.4422g.
