As you build your human relations skills, it is very important to establish an acute sensitivity to the impact communication filters have on your interpersonal relationships at home and at work. Review Figure 2.2 and identify the communications filters that were in place during a recent face-to-face conversation, argument, or confrontation you had with another person. Did any of these filters interfere with your ability to send or receive the information being transmitted during the exchange?
