A distrust has developed towards different groups, agencies, and organizations because of the maltreatment many First Nation people experienced. The view of educating the American people about the history of the First people has become limited in schools, and many tribes are asking for help with current events that have decades of history connected to them.
5. The history of the First Nation is taught in only some schools or to every American. For those unaffected by the obstacles or issues, understanding what it means to be an American Indian in the United States is often difficult. This class aimed to briefly introduce you to First Nation and inspire you to learn more about the tribes and their current obstacles.
