Emotional intelligence in a workplace include being able to understand nonverbal cues, properly adjust your behavior, make good decisions and also a way for you to become a respected leader. By being attuned to the emotions and needs of my colleagues, I created a more positive work environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and innovation. One of the components I chose is relationship management. The reason I say relationship management contributes to job satisfaction because it helps me gain insight into the behavior or the employees and customers. It is imperative to have a strong connection with the people you are around daily to insure your business is ran smoothly and everyone feels comfortable being present. As far as the customers stand point, it paves the way to attract new customers and keep the old customers coming back. When I properly communicate with my colleagues it shows that I am being very transparent with them and also gives them a chance to be heard.
