Emotional Intelligence and Character Strengths Leadership competencies that I possess as a leader and that enable me to lead effectively are many. After taking the VIA assessment, below are my top five strengths: 1. Hope, optimism, and future-mindedness - You expect the best in the future, and you work to achieve it.
