In your written assignments this semester, you will focus on your US House member - who they are, what they do, who supports them, etc. In your first paper, the goal is to get to know your congressperson and the district they represent:

Go to house and enter your address.

Click on your US House member to enter their official .gov website. Do the following:

1. Learn about the District

What counties and cities are included in the district?
Provide a copy of the district map (not a link!!)
Describe the basic elements of the district: is it rural or urban or suburban? What other descriptors does your Representative provide?

5. Must include an introduction (telling the reader the purpose of the paper) and a conclusion. Papers are narrative essays, so do not inlude bullet points or lists.
