Contract Specialist Employee Input for Performance Evaluation 

Please provide a real-life Contract Specialist role example/scenario/action for each of the standards listed for the element below. Element: Customer Relations

Element Description: This factor describes/captures the effectiveness of individual and organizational interactions with customers (anyone to whom services or products are provided); both internal (within an assigned organization) and external (outside an assigned organization). 

Standards:

1. With assistance from trainer and/or supervisor, initiates and establishes IPT working group, coordinates development of the acquisition strategy, develops and manages milestone schedule, and prepares requirements package documents in coordination with the requiring activity.
2. Engages stakeholders through a variety of methods (e.g., face-to-face interaction, phone calls, emails) throughout the rating cycle.  This supports the organization's commitment to be responsive to its stakeholders.
3. Employee makes him/herself available to stakeholders and acknowledges inquiries or requests throughout the rating cycle upon receipt, and, with support from trainer and/or supervisor, provides a comprehensive response within one week the majority of the time.  This supports the organization's commitment to be responsive to its stakeholders.
4. Each week, with assistance from trainer and/or supervisor, employee provides status updates to key stakeholders for each assigned action throughout the rating cycle.  This supports the organization's commitment to ensure timely completion of mission requirements.
