Globalization and its effects on human resource management could lead to different changes in that system. For instance, remote working is starting to become a thing within different jobs already but it is still relatively new. What HRM could do to further support and continue remote work could be to establish an effective way for people to communicate with each other if they are remote or not. HRMs could have a system where people working remotely could meet with each other at an appropriate time no matter the time zone or where they are. Globalization also allows companies to potentially hire people of any type of background and country. With this, HRMs could establish ways for these hires to easily transition into their work culture without discriminating against them or have them feeling like they do not belong there. Globalization also opens up a new wave of hires that are all competitive and looking for the top spot at any company. With this new wave of eager hires, HRMs would have to innovate on how they pick potentially employees with new ways of recruiting, being more research on who the person they are keen on, or have systems where they are able to attract these skilled workers.
