Once you have defined the project management type to be employed you can then define the controls process and procedures to be employed. Once the controls processes and procedures are defined, you can then compare and evaluate the tools available to you and select the tool (s) to be employed for your project.. The tools cannot be selected in a vacuum and must be compatible with your control processes and procedures to be employed. You will need to define how each control was selected and the tools if any to be implemented to provide project progress and performance information for the parts of the overall project The final portion of your paper will be an explanation of how the controls from the individual projects will be consolidated to give a picture of overall project progress and performance.
