The purpose of this article was to know the educational adaptations and strategies to teach children having impaired hearing. For example, there should be a minimal distance between the teacher and the child to ease lip-reading. Also, good environment in the classroom helps the child learn successfully. Doorn minions present the idea when a child does not understand what the language that people use it to talk with him. Rephrasing with additional words relevant to what you said can give cues and help a child understand the speech because, in rephrasing, we use words that are central to the main idea of the communication. For example, if you say, “You can get your jacket from your locker now,” and the child doesn’t understand, then you could say, “Everybody is getting ready for the bus; you can now get your jacket from your locker”. In conclusion, the author talked about these strategies to ease lives of these children because hearing impaired students face many challenges in our world. Also, we need to be aware of these challenges when developing our school programs.
