Students at Stetson University plan to ask administrators to build more on-campus housing on the DeLand campus if there is any evidence that the median monthly rent for off-campus housing is more than $350 per person.

A random sample of students living off campus will be obtained, and the resulting rent data will be used to test the relevant hypothesis. Let μ be the median monthly rent for students. State the null and alternative hypotheses in terms of the population median μ.
