Block A (with volume 0.004 m^3) hangs by a string from a spring scale D and is submerged in a liquid C contained in beaker B. The mass of the beaker is 1kg, and the mass of the liquid is 1.5kg. The spring scale reads 2.5kg, and scale E reads 7.5 kg. Draw a free body diagram for the block, carefully labeling all forces acting on the block. What is the mass density of the liquid? What will each scale read if block A is pulled up our of the liquid?
