Question

Why do dolphins kill baby prospies? I was watching a few videos about animals and what caught my attention was the fact that dolphins display aggressive behavior in which they kill porpoises. When we go to an aquarium or by the pier to see dolphins swim through the waters, it looks majestic, but looks can be deceiving. My initial thought on the reason why dolphins kill baby porpoises was a possibility in which they could be seen as prey and are part of a dolphins diet. Though, I also had in mind that we typically see dolphins being fed smaller fish. As I took that into consideration, my other thought was that dolphins kill for the territorial reasons and for food competition. In nature, food supply is finite and can only feed so many organisms; as a result, dolphins are probably fighting and killing for food.
