Free Radicals Glutathione is an antioxidant found in every cell and is important to our health because it neutralizes free radicals. This antioxidant is believed to contribute to our immune system and is found naturally in many foods. However, some research suggests that common, over-the-counter pain medications may lower the body's glutathione level. Independent random samples of healthy male adults and of those taking medication for ordinary aches were obtained. The glutathione level in each was measured (in micrograms/10(10) erythrocytes)
a. Conduct a one-way analysis of variance test to determine whether there is an overall difference in population mean glutathione levels. Use a = 0.05.
b. Construct the Tukey 95% confidence intervals to isolate any population means contributing to an overall difference. Draw a graph to represent the results.
c. Because we are interested mainly in whether pain relievers affect glutathione levels in healthy males, find the Bonferroni 95% confidence intervals only for the differences between each pain reliever mean and the healthy adult mean. Based on these results, do you believe pain relievers lower glutathione levels? Justify your answer.

Suppose two drivers are selected at random. What is the probability that both are paid $1000?- Suppose two drivers are selected at random. What is the probability that at least one is paid $500 or more?
The engineers hoped to base their decision on the reactions of 50 drivers, but time and budget constraints may force them to cut back to 20. How would this affect the power of the test? Explain.
suppose that the random variable y is an observation from a normal distribution with unknown meannbspmu and variance
Assuming normality, what is the probability of getting a sample mean this low or lower if the claims about the mean and standard deviation are true?
Given a level of confidence of 99% and a population standard deviation of 10, what other information is necessary:
Assume the data are at least of interval scaling and compute the correlation between the American and Italian ratings. Assume the data are only of ordinal scaling and compute the correlation between ratings of the two cultures.

Stock form a normal distribution with a mean of $8.52 with a standard deviation of 2.38. What percentage of the scores lie below $7.42?
