Question - Do you agree with this scenario case?

Most leaders that are great, learnt their leadership from a leader that influenced them. I know that with me I had someone that I admired in a leadership role and tried to bring her examples into the way I lead. Also I have noticed as a manager, I have incorporated the skills that I admired in other leaders but I also make sure that I don't do the thing that I didn't like as an employee, for instance micromanaging. I know for myself and what I've noticed with other employees that, micromanaging is not an effective way to manage or earn respect.
