This time the discussion will revolve around personality and behavior. Allport saw people as thinking, proactive, purposeful beings who are generally aware of what they are doing and why. Factor theories generally assume that human personality is largely the product of genetics and not the environment. Eysenck, using his three-factor theory, assumed that personality springs from genetic and neurophysiological bases.

All these assume that if personality has a strong biological basis, then the structure of personality should not differ much from culture to culture since we are born that way. On the other hand the idea that personality has a strong environmental basis then behaviors differ widely based on the environment/situations

How personality can have a strong biological basis as you look at 2 different worldwide cultures, not including the culture with which you identify. Just give me 2 examples - 1 from each culture - that is seen to have a strong biological basis. Is our personality determined by our genes/genetics?
