Instructions - You are hired to determine the effect of online teaching of statistics course on students' statistics content knowledge. Before the course, students were given 12 multiple choice questions measuring their content knowledge. They were also given the same test after the course. The highest a student can get is 12 points.

Based on the dependent t test results (i.e. SPSS output) attached:

  • What is your understanding of the results?
  • What conclusions would you make?

In your response, please present whether there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test, and discuss what the results mean.

Instructions - Download the SPSS file labeled Adoption Attitudes_Survey (this data is adapted from an online data set created by Brace, Kemp, and Snelgar (2013)). This data is related to participants' perception on cross- racial adoption. It contains participants' demographic information and cross- racial adoption attitude scores.

The purpose of the analysis is to determine whether there is a statistically significant difference in cross- racial adoption scores between males and females. You are expected to:

1. State the null and alternative hypothesis.

2. State the independent variable and dependent variable.

3. Test the hypothesis using SPSS (Hint: use independent samples t test).

4. Report the results (please note that the report should follow APA format. Refer to Morgan, Reichert, and Harrison (2002) reading).
