1. Chapter of our textbook discusses four federal law-enforcement agencies. It does not mention the CIA. : why does the CIA (properly) not fall into this chapter discussion? From that, contrast the CIA with at least one of the 4 agencies discussed.
2. Many criminal justice students aspire to join their local police force or the FBI. These ends are best served by planning, hard-work, and execution. In Imagining, hypothetically, that you are one such student: What should you do now, while in school, in order to best position yourself a career in the FBI down the road?
3. (This question is the most important one for, and most heavily weighted for, this assignment): Your book discusses community policing. Although there are tradeoffs, community policing, if done properly, can go a long way towards improving the quality of law enforcement, communities, and lives generally. Please search for, find, and here post a YouTube video (different from the one posted below) that illustrates an actual example of a law-enforcement officer who is doing something that constitutes community policing (however grandiose or modest) as defined in our textbook. Then, though the lens of law-enforcement, explore the impact of your example.
