The amendment that I chose was the 1 st amendment. The 1st amendment was adopted into the Constitution on December 15, 1791. It allows America's citizens the right to religious freedom, the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people to assemble, and to petition the Government to rectify mistakes (Seaquist, 2012, appendix A).
The first amendment protects businesses by allowing business owners to market their product anywhere they want. Also it protects a company's philosophy, if the organization is based on a religious beliefs, the company can run based on those beliefs.
First amendment can also limit business because the company can be based on their own beliefs, but they are not allowed to decimate against other consumers, who do not share the same ideas. Also business selling tobacco cannot market their products in schools, it limits their first amendment rights to protect children.
