1. Certain disciplines may conceptualize "aggression" differently. Social Psychologists define aggression as behavior intended to harm another who is motivated to avoid that harm. Do you agree with this definition? Why/why not? What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of defining aggression in this way?

2. Aggression theories and models are discussed in the chapter, namely the General Aggression Model (GAM) and the I3 Model of Aggression. Out of these two models, which do you prefer as a means to describe aggression? Explain why you prefer the model you selected and any advantages/disadvantages that helped you to select the model.

3. A current question that Social Psychologists (and really all psychologists) are trying to answer is "does media violence cause aggression." Based on the information you read in this chapter (the conceptualization of aggression, theories of aggression, and factors that can influence aggression) as well as the video posted about the classic Bobo Doll Experiment, provide your informed view on this question -- that is, do you think that media violence causes aggression? Why/why not?
