You need to prepare a 4-5 page paper, not including coverage page and references. Be sure to research the law. In preparing the paper, be sure to use headings for each required section.This paper focuses on patient rights. It should include the following and include a heading for each of the following. It should be 4-5 pages without the cover page or reference page.

1. Official title of the law. Indicate the state and/or federal law that applies by statute and section number. Be sure to look for both a state and federal law to find this.

Some sources to help you find the law include:
- United States Code (U.S.C.)
- State laws

2. Health Service Organization Obligation to meet Patient Rights. Discuss two specific legal obligations under the law. Explain what is required to meet the legal obligation.

3. Consequences for Non-Compliance. Discuss both civil and criminal penalties from federal and/or state law. Discuss a consequence for each legal obligation. For each obligation there should be an example of a real life case for each consequence.

4. Health Service Organization Management Actions to Meet Legal Obligations for Patient Rights. Discuss three specific management actions that a health care manager could take to ensure compliance with the law to protect patient rights. Be sure to research strategies that would be effective for this law.

5. Conclusion. Summarize what the paper content in one paragraph. Be comprehensive in your summary.

6. Information Literacy. Make sure you are using APA, all quoted material should be in quote marks, there should be in-text citations to all reference, and the reference list should be in APA format.

7. Spelling and Grammar and formatting requirements. Use spell check and grammar check, proof-read the paper to ensure proper spelling and grammar. Review APA formatting for the cover page, reference list, and in- text citations, use of headings, and other paper formatting.

Be sure to set aside time to work on and complete the paper.
