For this course, you will need to complete your Java programming assignments using the NetBeans integrated development environment (IDE). This course uses version 8.0.2. NetBeans IDE has a Javasyntax-friendly editor and provides a user-friendly environment to compile and run your application. To get started, you must first download the Java Development Kit (JDK).
