For this course, you will need to complete your Java programming assignments using the NetBeans integrated development environment (IDE). This course uses version 8.0.2. NetBeans IDE has a Javasyntax-friendly editor and provides a user-friendly environment to compile and run your application. To get started, you must first download the Java Development Kit (JDK). Overview: Now that you have downloaded your NetBeans IDE and learned how to open a new project, run your first line of code, and submit programming assignments, it is time to dive into your first formatting assignment. Prompt: Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed: Download this portion of code. As the program compiles and runs, notice how difficult it is to read the code. Part of programming is making code readable so other developers can read and maintain it. Using zyBooks Sections 1.5 "Comments and whitespace" and 2.17 "Style guidelines", format this code and submit the JAVA file through Blackboard. This is your first program.
