The topic is real life examples of the Modern Political Theorists. In other words, you are to look at Niccolo Machiavelli, Thomas Hobbes, and John Locke's theories and find one person in American politics over the past 50 years who fits the theories for each. Back your writings up with examples from the text as to what each of the theorists believed and then use newspaper articles, thought pieces from legitimate sources or academic articles to provide examples on how that particular person's actions demonstrated the particular theory.

You should have three sections, one for Machiavelli and a modern politician who's action fulfill Machiavelli's theories, one for Hobbes and a modern politician who's action fulfill Hobbes' theories, and finally one for Locke and a modern politician who's action fulfill Locke's theories. This should get you to roughly 3+ pages.
