Discussion  post

This week bought us many new interesting topics. Outsourcing in certain circumstances is a necessity. Sometimes the personnel and resources at hand are not compatible for the project.

Relinquishing control of business function to another company can be beneficial. This new company may have more tools necessary to completing the goal. This can speed up the project time and cut down on cost an many cases.

The "Art of Negotiation" enlightened me as well. This will help me in my business endeavors along with my personal ones as well. Separating the people from the problem is important.

It allows you to uphold positive energy amongst team members which will make it easier to fix the problem. "Invent options for mutual gain" may be the most important part of a negotiation. Compromising so that both parties are satisfied is the whole point of the negotiation.

This works best when people are honest and are trying to make things better for both companies. If one member in the negotiation is selfish someone may not gain its adequate share.
