This week, rather than answer a question I pose about Social Justice work, you're going to investigate an organization that supports and advances the social position and the rights of Latinx people in your community. Your community can be your school (PCC for example), your neighborhood, your city, or your state. Find an organization that supports an issue affecting the Latino/a community that you find important and meaningful, summarize what this organization does and how they go about effecting the change they want, and then write out how you can join in their fight for justice - list specific actions you can take within this organizations mission. Choosing to follow through on action is your choice. Please include a link and contact information for this organization.

Another issue to consider when you search for an organization is that activism doesn't always look like marches or taking to the street. Phone banking, knocking on doors, collecting signatures, signing petitions or, sometimes just standing next to someone who is a target or in the struggle.
