Question: Using the Assignment 1 Forum on your class Moodle site you will post the result of your research and consideration of a marketing trend discussed or identified in Unit 2. A discussion prompt will be provided in your class discussion forum and it will include a question that you can respond to through a variety of lenses such as: globalization, co-creation, self-actualization, social responsibility, design and innovation and so on.

The discussion forum is an opportunity for you to expand your understanding of a trend that interests you and to share your analysis of this trend with your class. In addition to posting one, 300 word response to the discussion prompt you will also respond to a minimum of two other posts over a two week period. Each post must be between 200 and 300 words.

In your forum response posts you will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

• Asking insightful questions

• Offering contributions based upon the literature and your prior experience

• Extending the discussion into new but relevant areas

• Modelling or promoting critical reflection

Once you have created your initial post and your responses to two other posts, paste these into three separate documents and upload them for evaluation using the Assignment 1 DropBox. Use the filename: lastname_firstname_post1.doc for your original post and: lastname_firstname_response1.doc for your first response etc.
