Consider some of the following:

1. In a page, What are the differences between nursing research, quality improvement and evidence-based practice? Why does that matter?
2. In a page, The triad of evidence-based practice includes patient preference (as well as evidence and clinical expertise). Patient preference is part of the ethical principle of autonomy or respect for humans. In some cases, autonomy and beneficence might be in opposition to each other (one common example is medication/vaccine refusal). Think of an example where a patient did not choose the "best" option for their health and how did you (or with your clinical instructor) respond?
3. In a page, Vulnerable populations are typically defined as children or those with limited cognitive ability. Contemporary definitions focus on anyone who might be exploited. Consider other groups that might be considered vulnerable. Why?
