Question: Stu works for a law firm, specializing in international law. She is contacted by another firm, ABC, that says that it wants to hire her to handle the legal work of ABC's very large international client, and also to head the new international department that ABC will form. Stu quits her current job and goes to ABC, but later discovers that there is no current very large client, and that ABC will not be able to form an international department because of lack of business. Did ABC commit a breach of contract, or possibly fraud?
