Some organizational leaders feel that developing employees is a double-edged sword, because the organization spends a good deal of time, money, and effort into developing a person as a professional and then the person takes that great development and leaves their position to move to a new one, either within the same organization or at a different organization. If this is the case, why would a company want to try to develop employees at all ?
