Case Study: Digital Transformation of Noida Health Care Pvt. Ltd.

Background:
Noida Health Care Pvt. Ltd. is a prominent enterprise-level healthcare organization with a global footprint. The company operates a network of 50 Multi-National Companies (MNCs) spread across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Each of these MNCs serves as a regional hub providing a wide array of healthcare services, including diagnostics, outpatient care, hospital management, telemedicine, and pharmaceutical distribution.

Despite its global presence, the organization relies heavily on manual and paper-based systems to manage critical operations such as:
Patient records and health data
Billing and invoicing
Human resource management
Inventory tracking and procurement.
Appointment scheduling
Inter-departmental communication
Compliance reporting

This fragmented and outdated system has led to operational inefficiencies, data silos, high error rates, and slow decision-making processes.

Your role as a Business Analyst:
As a Business Analyst, your primary responsibility is to bridge the gap between stakeholders (business and technical teams), gather requirements, identify current pain points, and facilitate the design and implementation of suitable digital solutions.

Design Thinking Application:
Emphasis: Gather insights about the organization's needs, challenges, and Risks.

Strategic Appraisal:
Prepare a Detailed Business Requirements Document by applying your strategical analysis and innovation.

Introduction or background to define the current state of the Business Organization and to propose a Future state.
Present Gap Analysis
Present Business Analysis Value Spectrum.
Define Business Analysis Scope and Approach
Provide Options for recommended solution.
Present the recommended solution as Project Milestones on timeline.
Risk Management

Introduction
Identify the Business' current state and propose a Future state to solve the case study. Use the BABoK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) approach for the current state analysis. Mention what techniques did you use for Current and Future state analysis.
Present Gap Analysis.
Identify the gaps between Current and Future state of the Business. Mention what techniques did you use to identify the Gaps.
Present Business Analysis Value Spectrum
Present Strategy Analysis, Requirements Analysis & Design Definition and Solution Evaluation for Noida Health Care Pvt Ltd.
Define Business Analysis Scope and Approach
Identify the scope of Business Analysis for the given case study and plan the Business Analysis activities and milestones. Refer to IIBA recommended approach.
Provide Options for recommended solution
Prepare and present at least 2 options to achieve the Project outcomes. Compare and analyze these 2 options and recommend the best suitable one with valid reasoning and justification.
Project plan and timeline
Prepare the Project Plan and Schedule using the milestones. Map the Milestones on a scale of timeline. Use Excel Gantt Chart to prepare the timeline.
Risk Management
Identify the Risk appetite and Risk tolerance. Prepare Risk Management plan for all the Risk items identified.
