Description of the project Your duty is to plan and develop an application for Lapland UAS.

The application consists of these parts:

• Database
• Database administration backend
• Responsive web application for users
• Mobile app for users

Requirements for the application:

• Users can find the contact information of staff
• Users can update their information in database
• Users belong to at least one group (for example bit13 students etc, tutors, teachers etc)
• Staff members can update their state -> for example a tutor teacher can set the state to "At office "
• Users can add events -> for example "Thesis presentation in classroom 209 at 12:00"
• Administrators can update the list of event categories in database
• Staff members can send messages to users (selected user, selected group of users)
• Users can send messages to others users/groups

Reporting

You must make project documentation containing at least these:

• Database plan and description

• Backend description

• Web application description
