Carrefour Hypermarket has assigned a project to your company to develop their Warranty Management System (WMS), which will serve as a platform where customers can claim warranties for the purchased electronic appliances and check the status of their warranty claims.

WMS will be used by different stakeholders that are:

Customers
Warranty Coordinators
Drivers
Service Center Officers

A customer fills the warranty claim by uploading the warranty invoice and providing a description of the malfunction. WMS notifies the warranty coordinator about it. A warranty claim contains exactly one warranty invoice, whereas a warranty invoice may be associated to many claims. An invoice is related to exactly one product and a product has exactly one warranty invoice.

A warranty coordinator processes the warranty claim. He verifies the warranty claim validity by checking its description and comparing the invoice date with the warranty claim date. If the product is still under warranty, then WMS notifies the customer about product's pickup date and time. Driver and service center officer are also notified. If the warranty claim is not valid, then the customer is notified about the invalidity of the warranty claim.

Driver picks up the product on a specified date and time, drops it at the service center, and updates the warranty claim status accordingly. The service center officer repairs the product, and updates the warranty claim status. Once the repairing is completed, WMS notifies the driver about the pickup date and time. It also notifies the customer about the product's delivery date and time. The driver picks up the product and drops it at the customer.
