Develop a spreadsheet to analyze the recruiting data provided in Exhibit 2.9 on page 124 of the case (essentially recreating and then "filling in" Form 2.5 on page 125 of the case). What are the yield ratios for each step in the recruiting process for each recruitment source? Please calculate ratios at each step in the recruiting process using the original number of applicants as your baseline comparison point - for example, the "Accepted Job" yield ratio for candidates sourced via Employee Referrals is 3.25, not 1.25. What do these data and your calculations reveal surrounding the effectiveness of the recruiting function at St. Vincent's?
