2. Develop a proposal (Justification, Benefits, Integrate with course material and other internet and academic research material)

3. Find data

Part II (10%) Due

4. Build an Access and Excel model. Build a MiniTab, SPSS or SAS data model. Show queries in Access and Excel. Show the appropriate analyses in SPSS.

5. Summary- What is this project all about. Find the appropriate academic literature. Research question- What are your research questions? Theses are to be supported with your data analyses. Contribution- What is the value of theses analyses?

6. What are the Attributes, Independent, and dependent variables?

7. What are the dimensions of the model?

Part III (20%) Build the BI model, write the report and PowerPoint Presentation; Present in class.

8. Implement the system using software using: Excel, Minitab or SPSS, Access, Cognos and Tableau.

9. Compare and contrast Cognos with Tableau.

10. Present the system- Demonstration of systems and presentation of steps 1-7, use overheads and Presentation software (i.e. PowerPoint).
