For this individual report, students must use Assessment 2 - Part 1 case study.
compile a formal business report that outlines the planning and justification for a project based on the below-given business case study. Students should apply the feedback provided by the tutor on the assessment 2- Part 1. Students must apply project management principles and justify the changes to the revised plan.
The report should encompass the utilization of various project management tools, including scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, risk management, change control and, quality management. Within the 3000-word limit, students are expected to conduct extensive research on contemporary ICT project management methodologies. They should evaluate these techniques and make recommendations for enhancing the project's success as outlined in the provided case study.
Task List
Assume that your project team starts falling behind schedule. Describe strategies for making up lost time and avoiding schedule slips in the future.
Develop a list of quality standards or requirements related to meeting the stakeholder expectations, focusing on both senior management and customer expectations.
Create a risk register for the project, using the template in slide 29 in lecture- 8 ( Risk Management) as a guide. Identify six potential risks, including at least two positive risks.
Plot the six risks on a probability/impact matrix, using slide 35 (Lecture-8) as a guide. Assign a numeric value for the probability of each risk, and its impact on meeting the main project objectives.
Provide Risk mitigation strategies for those six potential risks identified in question 3.
Project Presentation: The Presentation is for 10 minutes and should cover the key concepts covered in both assessments, such as stakeholders, scope, WBS, Gantt chart, Risk, and Quality.
